Ingredients

Serves 3 servings
  1. 14 ozraw shrimp (about 400 grams)
  2. 1/2medium red onion
  3. 2serrano peppers (remove seeds from one)
  4. 10limes (juice only)
  5. 1/2 bunchfresh cilantro
  6. 1cucumber
  7. 1/2 teaspoonsalt

Steps

  1. 1

    Peel and clean the shrimp, then butterfly them.

    Squeeze the juice from the limes and set aside.

    Blend the 2 serrano peppers (remove seeds from one), cilantro, lime juice, and salt until you get a green sauce.

    Slice the red onion and cucumber into thin rounds.

  5. 5

    Place the shrimp in a bowl, cover with the green sauce, and mix well.

  6. 6

    Add the onion and cucumber, and mix again.

    Refrigerate for 20 minutes before serving.
