My old neighbor taught us how to make Far Breton, and my mom created her simple version.
Steps

Soak dried prunes in rum

Mix flour, sugar, milk, eggs, and vanilla extract.

Add 2 into pan, and cook it in low heat.

Preheat the oven 180℃

Cook it until it becomes really really heavily sticky...!

Put butter on cake pan and add the dough and raisins. Use wooden spoon to shape nicely

Bake it about 30 - 45 minutes 180°C. Cool it in the refrigerator longer than 3 hours. Serve with caramel sauce if you like. (This is not traditional way, but somehow mom adds it all the time.)
