In a blender jar, add the ingredients mentioned under blending. Blitz to a smooth paste. Keep it aside.

Meanwhile add sugar to a pan. Let it caramelize on a low heat. As soon as it changes colour and gets a perfect brown hue, add about 1 litre of milk while stirring continuously.

To this add the blended paste little by little. Mix it well to get rid of any lumps whatsoever. Cook it on a low heat until it thickens. Add cardamom powder too.

Garnish with lots of slivered nuts of one's own choice. Serve it chilled. Enjoy!
