How to Dye Eggs for Easter Bread (Mona de Pascua)
We had never done this before, and everyone at home wanted to dye eggs… so it turned into a fun craft and a great time together, in addition to cooking!

Boil the eggs for 10 minutes. Cool them carefully to avoid cracks.

Let the eggs cool completely, then refrigerate. Save the egg carton to use as a stand while painting!

Use gel food coloring and new or thoroughly cleaned paintbrushes (washed with dish soap) to decorate the eggs as you like.

Let the eggs dry completely. Once dry, use them for the Mona de Pascua or place them in small bags to hide.
