Steps

Wash the omena thoroughly and soak it for 10 minutes in hot water. Drain the water and rinse it. With cold water.

Put 30ml of corn oil in a cooking pan,add onions and leave to cook for 1 minute till it is golden brown

Add diced tomatoes UN the pan and leave it closed for 2 minutes then stir.

Put half cooked omena in the pan and stir then close for 2 minutes for it to steam.

Put some water as you stir the mix till it boils then put chopped corriander and stir thoroughly for a minute.

Omena is ready to serve with ugali and steamed vegetables.
