Beat 1 cup butter, softened, with 1 cup brown sugar and 0.5 cup white sugar until light, then beat in 2 large eggs and 2 teaspoons vanilla extract.

Stir the dry mix into the wet just until combined, then dump in 2 cups of chocolate chips.

Drop rounded spoonfuls onto the sheets and bake until the edges are golden.
