One day,I had to rush to office soon with no time to prepare any chutney for the idlis. I sauted them in masala and my friend said it reminded of the dhoklas from Gujarat,but with a twist.

Cut the idlis into medium sized cubes

In a pan, heat oil, add the mustard seeds and let them clutter
- 3
Add the leaves,cut chillies,turmeric powder and stir well for few seconds till the raw aroma goes away
- 4
Add salt to taste. Don't add too much as the idlis are already having salt
- 5
Add the cut idlis and finely mix them with the masala
