If you ever thought baking a cake was a long, elaborate process, well, this recipe will banish all those myths! I guarantee you - preparation time of 10 mins, baking time 15 mins, cleaning time 5 mins! Perfect for today's fast life, don't you think!

Add all the dry ingredients into a baking bowl - maida, cocoa, sugar, salt. Mix till all ingredients are blended well.

Add salt, rum, eggs to this mixtures. Continue mixing. Add oil and slowly stir in the water. Keep whisking the entire mixture till bubbles begin to appear.

(You could use the cake/egg beater, though I prefer using a fork - good exercise for the arm!) The better you beat it, the more the bubbles, the softer the cake!

Put in the microwave at 70% power and set for 16-17 minutes. You'll know the cake is done because the aroma will fill your house! Just in case, poke a knife through the cake and if it comes out clean the cake is ready!
