Ingredients

30 mins
5-serving
  • 100 gmTomato paste (tomato puree)
  • 2 cupsRice (washed and socked for 10miniutes)
  • 2 tbspsGinger garlic & amp ; paste
  • 1/2 teaspoonRed chilli powder
  • 1/2 tspCumin seed (powder)
  • 1/2 tspGaram masala
  • 1 tbspButter
  • 4 cupswater Boiling

Steps

30 mins
  1. 1

    Heat the oil in a heavy bottom vessel. Add ginger & garlic paste and then add tomato paste, stir constantly until the oil starts clearing out of the gravy.

  2. 2

    Now add red chilli powder, garam masala, salt and saute well.

  3. 3

    Add the rice and mix well.

  4. 4

    Finally add boiling water, cover and simmer for 20 minutes.

  5. 5

    Ready to serve with hummus (I like this combination).
