I had a very long the other day. I was tired and had been losing a battle with my 4 year... Potty training 😩! Anyway, I wanted a no fuss meal. I had salmon and fresh green beans in the fridge already. So that was what I was going to have. There is not an exact recipe for the sauce I made. Taste as you go until you find the right balance for you. Cooking with Kimberly Wood -

Lightly Flavored Sweet & Savory Simmered Soy Beans Lightly Flavored Sweet & Savory Simmered Soy Beans
The simmered beans I used to have were pretty salty. I wanted my own kind that wouldn't so high in sodium -- that's how this recipe was born.I like that these are slightly less sweet than store-bought simmered beans. I also like that they have less soy sauce than the store-bought quality. I like the reduced simmering liquid too. So basically I've made simmered beans just the way I like them. For an easy to make amount. Recipe by Mamemame cookpad.japan -

Sweet & Spicy Chili Sweet & Spicy Chili
I have been making this recipe for more than 20 years. I'm so happy to say that this amazing dish has been a favorite of my 3 children. I love to serve this on a semi-cold Texas winter night with sweet corn bread. You must have shredded sharp cheddar cheese, sour cream, and corn chips to top it off! Deborah Abrahamson -

It was to kill the taste of the ground turkey, not a fan. I kept adding things trial by error to see if it would take the stench out...it worked. I actually like it! Beautifulfierysoul
