  • 2 TablespoonsButter
  • 1 PoundBeef , lean , ground
  • 1 PoundBeef Sirloin , cubed
  • 4 ClovesGarlic , minced
  • 2Red Bell Pepper
  • 2Jalapeno
  • 2Onions
  • 1Chilli Pepper
  • of 2 canKidney Beans (14 oz),
  • of 1 canChilli Beans (16 oz),
  • 1 CupCoffee Black
  • 12 OuncesBeer Dark
  • of 1 canTomatoes Diced (14 oz),
  • of 2 canTomato Paste (6 oz),
  • of 1 canBeef Broth ,
  • 2 TeaspoonsSalt
  • 1 TablespoonCumin
  • 2 TeaspoonsOregano
  • 2 TablespoonsHot sauce
  • 1 TeaspoonOnion , granulated
  • 1 TeaspoonGarlic , granulated
  • 1 TeaspoonCayenne Pepper
  • Tortilla chips
  • cheese Shredded
  • Sour cream

  1. 1

    Dice onion, peppers, jalapeños, and garlic.

  2. 2

    In a stock pot over high heat add butter and bacon grease. Add onions, peppers, jalapeños and cook until caramelized. Add garlic and cook for another minute or two.

  3. 3

    Add cubed sirloin and cook until browned. Add ground beef and cook until browned stirring occasionally.

  4. 4

    Add tomatoes, beer, coffee, beef broth and tomato paste.

  5. 5

    Add spices and stir in beans.

  6. 6

    Reduce heat and let simmer for at least 2 hours.

  7. 7

    Serve in a bowl with chips on the side. Add shredded cheese and sour cream on the top of chili.
