Ingredients

  • 1/2 CupTuvar dal
  • 1 TspTurmeric powder
  • 2 TspsGhee
  • to tastesalt
  • 1/2 CupCoconut
  • 7 numbersRed chilli
  • 1 tbspCoriander seed
  • 1/4 tspKhus khus
  • 2 tspschana dal
  • 1 tspurad dal
  • 1/2 tspfenugreek
  • 1 inchcinnamon piece
  • 2cloves
  • 2cardamom
  • Tamarind small ball sized
  • 10 NosShallots
  • 2 NosCarrot diced
  • 1Potato diced
  • 1/2 CupYellow pumpkin chopped
  • 1Tomato
  • 1/2 CupRadish chopped
  • 2 Nosonion Big
  • 1 TspMustard
  • 1/4 TspFenugreek seed
  • 2 NosRed chilli
  • Handfullettuce leaves Curry
  • 1 TspJeera
  • 1 TspUrad dal
  • HandfulCoriander leaves

Steps

  1. 1

    Roast the Masala and Grind to a smooth paste

    A picture of step 1 of Bisi Bela Bath.
  2. 2

    Pressure cook Rice, dal, vegetables in 5 cups of water for 4 whistles

  3. 3

    Soak Tamarind and and extract the juice

  4. 4

    Add Ground Masala, Tamarind juice, salt into the cooked rice and dal

  5. 5

    Let this gets cooked in medium heat for 3 to 4 mins

  6. 6

    Season with mustard, jeera, fenugreek, red chilli, curry leaves and urad dal

  7. 7

    Finally garnished with ghee and coriander leaves

  8. 8

    Ready to Serve
