Wash and soak the wheat in water for 2 hours. For faster cooking, soaking overnight is recommended.

Drain the wheat and transfer to pressure cooker. Add the chicken, chopped onion, cloves and salt. Pour enough water and cook till one whistle blows.

Then cook on low flame for about 45 mins to 1 hour.

Meanwhile, heat ghee in a pan and fry the finely chopped onions until golden brown.

After an hour, when pressure is down, open the cooker and pour coconut milk and mix well to achieve desired consistency.

Remove from flame when it starts boiling.

Transfer to a bowl. Pour ghee and garnish with the fried onions. Serve along with a bowl of sugar.

You can use any kind of meat - chicken, beef or mutton
