Sieve and mix all the dry ingredients.

Whisk together eggs, sugar, vanilla essence, and oil.

Add the dry ingredients and milk alternately in the wet mixture and beat well. For each beat, start and end by adding dry ingredients.

Preheat the oven to 180 degree centigrade.

Grease a loaf tin and pour the batter.

Bake for 35-40 minutes, until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.

For preparing the caramel sauce, melt sugar in a pan, stirring continuously.

Once it melts completely, add in butter and salt and mix well until well combined. Allow to cool.

Once the cake is prepared, cut it horizontally halfway, and add the caramel sauce and roasted peanuts.

Assemble the cake, and add the sauce and peanuts on top too.
