Chop the matumbo into pieces and wash well. put in a pressure cooker for 45 minutes. When already soft, chop the onions in a sufuria and add cooking oil.

Let the onions cook for a few minutes and and add chopped tomatoes. Let the tomatoes soften as you stir then add the matumbo and salt. stir the mixture and cover for 15 minutes to simmer.

Remove from heat and steam the kales, cook Ugali using the flour and serve hot.
