Roll slices of liver in seasoned flour. Sauté in butter until brown on both sides.

Sauté thinly-sliced onion rings in another fry pan until golden brown.

Place liver on platter; turn onion rings into pan in which liver was cooked. Add 2 Tablespoons hot water; stir to loosen sediment in pan. Mix. Pour over liver.
Tips
Give the liver a good soak in milk overnight to cut the bitterness
