Ingredients

  • flour 200g vegetable fat 60g margarine 60g salt pinch
  • water 2-3tbsp egg 1 bread crumbs 1/2 tbsp jam 2tbsp
  • sugar

    Sieve the flour banking powder sugar and salt together

  2. 2

    Add margarine and vegetable fat

  3. 3

    Rub in to a sady texture

  4. 4

    Make a well in the center

  5. 5

    Add 8spoon of water

  6. 6

    Handle as little and as lightly as possible

  7. 7

    Roll out the pastry into a rectangle shape 30*16 cm

  8. 8

    Spread with jam leaving 1cm clear on all edges

  9. 9

    Fold over two short sides 1cm roll the pastry from the top

  10. 10

    Moisten the bottom edges to seal the roll

  11. 11

    Place edges down on a greased baking sheet

  12. 12

    Brush with eggwash sprinkle with sugar

  13. 13

    Bake in a moderate oven at 200℃for about 40min
