Ingredients

1 servings
  1. 1Rib Eye Steak
  2. salt, kosher
  3. black pepper, fresh ground
  4. 2 Tbutter
  5. 1Garlic, sliced
  6. 1rosemary sprig

Steps

  1. 1

    Take your steak and bring it to room temperature

  2. 2

    Moderately season the steak with salt and pepper

  3. 3

    Place cast iron skillet on high heat

  4. 4

    Drop the butter on the skillet and after its melted, drop the steak in. Dont burn the butter.

  5. 5

    Cook the steak on 1 side for 2 minutes.

  6. 6

    Flip the steak, cook for 2 minutes. Add the garlic and rosemary while basting with butter

  7. 7

    Remove steak from the skillet and let it rest for about 2 minutes

  8. 8

    Plate and serve with butter sauce over the steak. Enjoy!
