Mozzarella Baked Spaghetti

Ingredients

6-8 servings
  1. 8 oz.Uncooked Spaghetti (broke into thirds)
  2. 1Egg
  3. 1/2 cupMilk
  4. 1/2 tspSalt
  5. 1lbs. Ground Beef
  6. 1/2lbs. Johnsonville Mild Ground Italian Sausage (optional)
  7. 1small Onion (chopped)
  8. 1/2 cupGreen Pepper (chopped)
  9. 1-14 oz.jar Meatless Spaghetti Sauce
  10. 1-8 oz.can Tomatoe Sauce
  11. 1-2 cups(4-8oz) Shredded Part-Skim Mozzarella Cheese

Cooking Instructions

    Preheat oven to 350°. Cook spaghetti according to package directions.

    Meanwhile, in a large bowl beat egg, milk and salt. Drain spaghetti; add egg mixture and toss to coat. Transfer to a greased 9x13" baking dish.

    In a large skillet, cook beef, sausage, onion and green pepper over medium heat until meat is no longer pink; drain. Stir in spaghetti sauce and tomatoe sauce. Spoon over the spaghetti mixture.

    Bake (uncovered) for 20 minutes. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake additional 10 minutes or until cheese is melted. Let stand 10 minutes to set up before cutting.
