Ingredients

  • 500Shrimps Cleaned (Prawns)
  • 1½ TablespoonsOil
  • ½ TeaspoonCumin seeds
  • 2Onions Medium (Finely Chopped)
  • 4 - 5Garlic (Finely Chopped)
  • 2Chillies Dried Kashmiri
  • 1/2 TeaspoonCumin Powder
  • 1 TeaspoonKashmiri Chilli Powder
  • 31/2 TablespoonsYogurt
  • 3 TablespoonsCoconut Milk Powder
  • to tasteSalt

Steps

  1. 1

    Heat oil in a pan.

  2. 2

    Add cumin seeds and saute for couple of minutes.

  3. 3

    Add onions, garlic, dried kashmiri chillies. Saute till onions becomes golden brown.

  4. 4

    Add cumin powder and chilli powder. Mix everything well.

  5. 5

    Now add shrimps and yogurt. Mix everything till they incorporate well. Cover and cook for 10-15 minutes.

  6. 6

    Add coconut milk powder and cook for another 5 minutes till the masala gets dry.

  7. 7

    Serve it as a side dish with chappathis or rice.
