In a deep saucepan, put the chopped meat, add little water and salt. Cook until water has dried up and it starts to brown, put oil in add the onion, when they have turned slightly brown, add the ginger and garlic powder.

Stir until a sweet aroma is produced. Then add Pilau masala and cook for about 5 minutes.

Then add rice, and 1/2 litre of water, cover for 30 minutes, afterwards, mix and and add a 1/2 cup of water, cover for another 15 minutes.

Remove from heat and let it cool for a few minutes.

Then in a saucepan, put in oil. Add onions and cook till soft, then add tomatoes and cook until soft.

Add in the chopped cabbage. Stir. Cook for only a few minutes leaving in crunchy.

Serve.
