  • 2 kgbeef
  • 10 gsalt and pepper
  • 100 gwhite flour
  • 100 mloil
  • 2large onions
  • 40 gcaster sugar
  • 100 mlbeer
  • tomato purre

Steps

  1. 1

    Cut the meat into thin slices.

  2. 2

    Season with salt and pepper and pass through the flour.

  3. 3

    Quickly colour on both sides in hot fat and place in a bowl.

  4. 4

    Fry the onions to a light brown colour. add the meat.

  5. 5

    Add the beer, sugar and tomato puree and sufficient water to cover the meat.

  6. 6

    Cover the a lid and let it cook.

  7. 7

    Correct the seasoning and serve

  8. 8

    The dish is well served with plain rice and spinach
