1 1/2 cupswheat bran
1/3 cupvegetable oil
2/3 cupbrown sugar
1 cupflour
1 teaspoonbaking powder
1/2 cupraisins
1 cupbuttermilk/yogurt
1egg
1/2 teaspoonvanilla
1 teaspoonbaking soda
1/2 teaspoonsalt

Preheat oven to 375°F/190°C.

Grease muffin cups.

Mix bran and yogurt.

Beat oil, egg, sugar and vanilla; add to bran mixture.

Sift dry ingredients; add to wet ingredients.

Fold in raisins.

Pour into muffin tins.

Bake 15-20 minutes.
