In a big bowl, pour 3 cups of flour

In another bowl, mix salt, sugar and 4 tbsp of oil and 1 cup of water. Stir until the salt and sugar dissolves.

Pour the liquid mixture above in the flour bowl and mix well. Keep adding the remaining water until the dough becomes soft.

Knead the dough for five minutes and add four if needed.

Then transfer the dough on a flat surface and continue kneading while adding flour until the dough becomes a little soft.

The add some oil on top and continue kneading to make it soft and not so sticky.

Cover the dough and leave it to rest for atleast 30 minutes.

Then after 30 minutes, divide the dough into around 14 equal parts. then pick one of the bowl and place it in flat surface in order for you to start rolling.

Roll it to circular shapes then take one tbsp of oil and start applying on top of the chappati.

Then start folding and rolling the oiled chapati with both hands in a way that you are rolling in the direction away from you.

Once you have a shape that looks like a rope, create a coil like shape.

Then with a rolling pin start rolling the chappati dough into circular shape. You will begin to see layers.

Then heat the pan and place the rolled out chappati.

Dry the chapati on both side in the pan. Then put one tbsp of oil of chapati
