Kids Lunch - Semolina Bread Snack

You are looking at this yummy bread snack made with semolina and other ingredients. Apart from the coriander stems & leaves and other ingredients that I have used, you can also add any veggies of your choice to make them more healthy and wholesome. They are a good lunch box meal for the kids.

You are looking at this yummy bread snack made with semolina and other ingredients. Apart from the coriander stems & leaves and other ingredients that I have used, you can also add any veggies of your choice to make them more healthy and wholesome. They are a good lunch box meal for the kids.
Steps

Mix together semolina, onion, green chilies, ginger, red chili flakes, coriander stems, coriander leaves, yoghurt, salt and turmeric powder.

Heat 1 tbsp. oil and temper with mustard seeds and asafoetida. After it stops spluttering, pour it over the prepared batter & mix well.

Spread a little of the batter on each slice of bread.

Heat a tawa and drizzle a tsp. of oil. Shallow fry the batter side first for a minute or till it turns light golden in colour. Then flip it over and fry the other side too.

Transfer to a serving plate. Cut them in half and serve them with green chutney or sauce....
