Ingredients

  • [Pork & Shrimp Meatballs]:
  • 100 gpork
  • 100 gshrimp (raw - peeled)
  • 1/2 tspgarlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsppepper
  • 1/2 tspcoriander powder
  • 2 Tbsplight or regular soy sauce
  • [Soup]:
  • 1 literwater
  • 100 gChinese cabbage / napa cabbage
  • 100 gcarrot
  • 60 gvermicelli rice noodles
  • 4shiitake mushrooms, sliced (optional)
  • Fresh cilantro/coriander leaves, chopped
  • 1 1/2 tspsalt

Steps

  1. 1

    Make the meatballs by mixing all ingredients together in a bowl. Form into 3 cm balls.

  2. 2

    Bring water to a boil in a pot. Add the carrot, cabbage and meatballs.

  3. 3

    When cabbage is soft, add the salt and vermicelli. When all vegetables are cooked, turn off the heat.

  4. 4

    Serve and garnish with coriander leaves.
