Ingredients

  1. 1milk fish (cleaned & cut into 7 pieces)
  2. 1medium size onion (sliced)
  3. 5 clovegarlic (sliced)
  4. 6chilli (sliced) adjust to your taste
  5. 3 cmginger (sliced)
  6. 3 cmturmeric (sliced)
  7. 2 tbssweet soy sauce
  8. 1/2 tsptamarind
  9. 2 tbspalm sugar
  10. salt
  11. 4bay leave
  12. 2tomatoes
  13. water
  14. canstink beans cut into half (optional) - I didn't use it
  15. cooking oil

Steps

  1. 1

    In a wok, heat up oil then put sliced onion, garlic, chilli, ginger, turmeric, and bay leaves, stir until fragrance.

  2. 2

    Add water, salt, sweet soy sauce, palm sugar, tamarind, stir and let it boil

  3. 3

    Put the fish, let it cook. put chopped tomatoes (& stink bean if you want). serve hot with steamed rice
