Cooking Instructions

Cream together butter, sugar and eggs.

Next well and add cocoa powder.

Add salt, baking soda, vanilla extract and maple extract.

Mix well and add the flour and milk alternatively (Add a little of each, Mix, add more, etc till gone.)

Not a typo, I really mean sour milk. Add 1 tbsp vinegar to milk if you don't have sour milk.

Pour into a greased 9x13 pan, or 24 cupcake liners.

Bake in 350 for 25-30 minutes or until cake test is done.

Chocolate Cake Chocolate Cake
Made this few week ago we frozen the slices and had 60g each every Saturday and Sunday with ice cream. This time I used butter instead of margarine and added 1 egg plus used large instead of medium. This cake is soft with crunchy top and sides. And everyone who tried it had it eat whole portion in 1 go as apposed to wanting to save some. Irmgard Gater
