Ingredients

  • 5 cupsflour
  • 5 teaspoonsbaking powder
  • 3 mlginger
  • 3 mlcinnamon
  • 3 mlmixed spice
  • 1 cupsugar
  • 1 cupapricot jam
  • 1 cupcarrot grated
  • 1 cuppotato mashed
  • 1 cupraisins
  • 250 gmargarine
  • 4eggs

Steps

  1. 1

    Mix all ingredients in a bowl until combined

  2. 2

    Transfer to a greased bowl (heat resistance)

  3. 3

    Fill a large pot with 1/4 of water 💦 and place your bowl inside.

  4. 4

    Steam for 3 hrs or until done ✅ when a skewer comes out clean when inserted. Keep on checking every 30 minutes and add water if it's dried up.

  5. 5

    Enjoy with custard
