Lemony Chicken Youvetsi

I tried this recipe at a friend's house, who had seen it in Gastronomos, I think. I loved it!
A few more tips:
Instead of bell pepper, I used sun-dried tomato, and it was also delicious.

Steps
- 1
Sear the chicken in olive oil.
- 2
Once browned, add the chopped onion, garlic, and bell pepper.
- 3
When the vegetables are softened, add the flour, stir until lightly golden, then deglaze with the wine.
- 4
After it comes to a boil, add hot water to cover the chicken, then add the bay leaf, allspice, salt, and pepper.
- 5
Let it simmer, adding more hot water as needed.
- 6
When the chicken is cooked, transfer it with its sauce to a baking dish where you have already added the orzo. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for about 20 minutes, until the orzo is cooked. Add more hot water if needed.
- 7
When almost done, uncover the dish to let it brown, then add the juice and a little zest from the lemons.
