Efi's shrimp pasta
A relatively easy and tasty garidomararonada (as it is called in Greece) that you can make without using any oil in case you are fasting.

Steps

Sauté the onions and the garlic in the oil.

Then add the shrimps after removing the antennas and allow them to sauté until they change color.

Add the wine and the stock cube and let everything boil until all the liquids are absorbed.

Finally add the tomato sauce, the sugar and the bay leaf.

When the shrimps are ready remove them from the pot and add 5 cups of water to the sauce and a little salt (if you like you can add some extra tomato sauce to make it more red).

Let the water boil and then add the pasta. Turn down the heat and let the pasta boil until it absorbs all the water (fi you see that the water is absorbed and the spaghetti is still raw add some more water).

As soon as the pasta is cooked (al dente) add the shrimps to the pot and stir lightly. Serve right away...
