Small pies with Cretan mizithra.

Dissolve the yeast in the water.

Beat the butter with the oil in a bowl, add sugar, milk, eggs, cognac, vanilla and the dissolved yeast. In the end add the flour after mixing the baking powder in it.

Let the dough rise for 2-3 hours.

Take small pieces of the dough, roll it out, place a bit of mizithra and seal it forming a small ball.

Place them in the baking tray and after the tray is full brush the tops with the egg and sprinkle sesame seeds on top.

Bake at 200 degrees.
