Rub the butter into the flour until it looks like fine breadcrumbs, add sugar, baking powder and dried fruit, Add egg and milk to make a soft dropping consistency.

Line cake pan and pour in batter into the tin; and bake for approximately 1 insert a skewer once it comes out clean turn off oven and allow the cake cool off before serving

Serve with a cup of tea for breakfast
