Ingredients

  1. 2 cupsRed kidney beans soaked
  2. 1 cuptomato puree
  3. 1tomato finely chopped
  4. 1 tbspginger grated
  5. 1 tspred chilli powder
  6. 1 tbspamchur
  7. 1/4 cupmilk
  8. to tasteSalt
  9. For masala Grind all these things -1 tbsp jeera,
  10. 2 tbspCoriander powder
  11. 1 inchcinnamon stick
  12. 5-6black pepper
  13. 4-5cloves
  14. Ghee
  15. 1 tspjeera for tempering

Steps

  1. 1

    Boil soaked rajma till it gets soft. Add little salt while boiling it.

    Now in a pan heat ghee add jeera and tomato puree

  3. 3

    Sautee till puree reduces a little.

  4. 4

    Now add grated ginger and chopped tomato.

  5. 5

    Add salt add saute till tomato gets soft.

  6. 6

    Now add red chilli powder and amchur

  7. 7

    Also add the masala which we have grounded.

  8. 8

    Now add cooked rajma.

  9. 9

    Stir it and allow it to simmer for 10 minutes.

  10. 10

    Now add milk or you can even add cream.

  11. 11

    Simmer it for another 10 minutes.

  12. 12

    Now the rajma is ready to serve.

  13. 13

    Serve it with nice hot steamed rice or jeera rice
