Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cupswheat flour
  • 1 tbspcurds
  • 1/2 tspbaking powder
  • 1/2Ghee
  • As per your tasteSalt
  • 1/2 cup boiled and coarsely crushed green peas
  • 1/2 tspghee
  • 1/2 tspcumin seeds
  • 1 tbspchopped green chillies
  • 1/2 tsplemon juice
  • to tasteSalt
  • 1/2 tspplain flour

Steps

    FOR THE DOUGH..sieve the flour very well add all the remaining ingredients and knead into a soft dough by adding enough warm water knead the dough for at least 6 to 7 minutes cover with a wet cloth

    FOR STUFFING..Heat the ghee in a pan add the cumin seeds crackle add green chillies and saute a minuts then add the peas lemon juice and salt and cook for a 2 to 3 minutes stirring sprinkle the plain flour and cook medium flame for 2 to 3 minutes until the mixture becomes dry keep a side

    Divide the dough equal portion roll a portion and circle with the help of a little flour for rolling.

    Place 1 teaspoon of the stuffing in the center of the circle bring together all the sides and seal tightly and roll again

  5. 5

    Heat the oil in a pan and deep fry the puris till they turn brown in color from both sides draun on absorbent paper and serve hot
