Ingredients

  1. 450 gramsbutter, softened
  2. 200 gramsCaster Sugar
  3. 500 gramsPlain Flour, sifted

Cooking Instructions

    Preheat oven to 180C/gas mark 4. line baking trays with baking parchment.

    cream together butter and sugar until fluffy and white. Gradually stir in the flour until well blended. On a lightly floured surface, roll the dough out to about 5mm thickness. Cut into circles using a pastry or cookie cutter.

    Bake in preheated oven for 8-10mins or until golden brown. Allow biscuits to cool on baking trays for 5 mins before removing to a wire rack to cool completely.

    Optional: Spread icing or any topping of your choice over the biscuit. ENJOY!
