Had a craving for homemade biscuits yesterday, so I decided to make this simple recipe. They are very tasty and soooo good with a good cup of any coffee. Personally, I am a fan of Cappuccino…….:)

I have had jam cake made by putting jam between the layers. This is a spin on it.

I love scones. I make them using various ingredients.The other day I came across a recipe using strong flour, and it was delicious with a texture I hadn't had before. So I came up with this recipe using strong flour and okara in the dough.In steps 3 and 4 mix the dough without kneading it (if you knead it, it won't be crispy after baking).If using salted butter please reduce the amount of salt used.If you cool them, when it's time to eat, warm them in a oven for a more delicious taste. Flakes and tastes great. Batch can be multiplied but watch salt amounts. I use margarita glass to cut 2 large biscuits about 3/4 inch thick when it's for just my wife and myself. If you want 8-10 normal size, double the recipe.

I tried the chicken and bicuits in dunking donuts and liked them so i tried a biscuit recipe but varied the ingredients. I nailed it. Bang!
