3 lbChicken
1/2 cupminced onions
6 tbspbutter
1 1/2 tspsalt
1/2 tsppepper
1/2 lbfresh mushrooms
2 tbspflour
1 cupchicken stock
1/4 cupdry white wine
15 ozcan artichoke hearts or 2 10 oz frozem

present oven to 375

In a large skilllet, brown chicken and onion in 4 Tb butter

Season with salt and pepper

Remove chicken and onions and put in a 2 qt casserole.

Add remaining2 Tb butter to skilllet saute mushrooms for 5 min.

Sprinkle flour over mushrooms and stir in stock and wine.

Simmer for 5 min, stirring constantly, until thickened and smooth.

Arrange artichokes among chicken pieces.

Pour mushroom sauce over chicken and artichokes.

Cover and bake for 40 min, or until chicken pieces are tender.
