Ingredients

25 mins
  • 1000 gramscarrots
  • 30 gramslemon juice
  • 25 gramswater
  • 200 gramsapple juice
  • 20 gramsbeetroot juice or puree
  • 15 gramssalt
  • 7 gramsonion powder

    Chop carrots into chunks and boil until soft

  2. 2

    Put them in a blender with all the other ingredients and puree

  3. 3

    Use as a pasta sauce, a pizza topping, lasagne or bolognese sauce.

    To turn into ketchup add 2 tsp cinnamon, 2 tsp garlic powder, a half tsp nutmeg, a half tsp white pepper and a pinch of ground cloves!
