Ingredients

  1. 1 loafItalian bread
  2. 1 lbthawed fully cooked frozen meatballs
  3. 1 1/2 cupshredded mozzarella cheese
  4. 18oz block softened cream cheese
  5. 1/2 cupmayonnaise
  6. 1/4 tspblack pepper
  7. 1 tspitalian seasoning
  8. 126oz jar of tomato pasta sauce
  9. 1/2 cupwater

  1. 1

    Preheat oven to 350°F.

  2. 2

    slice bread loaf into 1inch slices. I usually do 5-6 slices depending on width of loaf.

  3. 3

    If you want your casserole bread base firm, then lightly toast them directly on the preheated oven rack..(i prefer/recommend doing this)

  4. 4

    place bread into bottom of lightly greased casserole pan.

  5. 5

    mix seasonings, cream cheese, and mayonnaise together. Make sure to mix very well.

  6. 6

    spread mixture over bread evenly.

  7. 7

    sprinkle 1/2 of mozzarella over mixture.

  8. 8

    mix sauce, meatballs and water together

  9. 9

    pour on top of casserole evenly

  10. 10

    sprinkle rest of cheese on top

    bake 30-35 minutes until bubbly and thoroughly heated.
