Paneer makhana bhurji

Paneer is rich in minerals like magnesium, iron, it is also a very good source of calcium, protein and healthy fats.
Makhana (lotus seeds) :
It's a good source of protein, carbohydrates, fibre, magnesium, potassium, phosphorus, iron and zinc. High in fiber and low in calories, it enables weight loss.
Kids love to eat paneer & Makhana. Today I prepare paneer makhana bhurji. You can give it in kids tiffin because it is healthy meal/snack & tasty too.

Cut paneer in 1/2 Inch square pieces..

Roast makhana without oil.

Heat oil in Kadhai. Add mustard seeds. When it splutter add curry leaves,,onion. Saute it until light brown. Add chopped tomatoes. Saute all for 1 minute.

Add turmeric, red chilli powder, salt & tomato sauce & roasted peanuts. Mix well.

Add Paneer cubes. Saute till all spices mix properly with Paneer cubes

Add Roasted makhana. Sprinkle 3-4 tsp water. Cover Kadhai with lid. Cook for 2-3 minutes on slow flame.

Turn of gas. Serve hot. Garnish with crushed paneer.
