Ingredients

  1. 1 largepotato
  2. 3 clovegarlic
  3. 1 dashsalt to taste
  4. 1 dashgarlic powder to taste
  5. 1/4 stickbutter

Steps

  1. 1

    preheat frying pan just below medium heat until the pan is evenly heated.

  2. 2

    peel, wash, and grate potato into a bowl

  3. 3

    skin and grate all 3 cloves of garlic into bowl with potatoes.

  4. 4

    add salt and garlic powder to your potatoes.then mix ingredients together until evenly seasoned.

  5. 5

    toss half of the1/4 stick of butter on pan to keep potatoes from sticking

  6. 6

    add potatoes to pan and shape to preference.

  7. 7

    cook till golden then add last half of butter before flipping to keep from sticking.

  8. 8

    continue to shape and flip until evenly cooked

  9. 9

    remove potatoes from pan and serve.

  10. 10

    1/2 potato should be enough to make a delicious side for any breakfast or use the whole potato as a single serving. enjoy! :-)

I like the idea. I experimented with it, the trick is to get as much water out of the potatoes as possible. One egg and a little flour (or gf substitute) helps hold them together better also.
