  1. 1 kgIrish potatoes
  2. wheat flour
  3. cooking oil
  4. salt
  5. tumeric powder

  1. 1

    Peel the potatoes and cut into slices.

  2. 2

    Mix flour and tumeric powder and add water. stir until it forms a thick batter.

  3. 3

    Boil the potatoes for 5 minutes then dip them in the batter.

  4. 4

    Preheat the oil then place the slices to fry until golden brown and remove.

  5. 5

    Place on crisp paper to drain any excess oil and serve.
