Ingredients

  • 200 gramstuna
  • 200 gramsleeks
  • 200 gramsred jalapeno peppers
  • 2 mediumeggs
  • 4 tbspolives
  • 1/2 cupdouble cream
  • 1 1/2 cupself raising flour
  • 2 tspdried oregano
  • 4 tspsesame seeds
  • 1salt and pepper
  • 1oil
  • 1balsamic cream vinegar

    preheat convectional oven at 250

  2. 2

    drain tuna from oil and place in a mixing bowl.

  3. 3

    chop all other ingredients in very small pieces, and mix with tuna. add remaining ingredients and mix well.

  4. 4

    take 2spoon fulls in yr hand and form balls. place on pan previously sprayed with some oil.

  5. 5

    spray balls with oil and sprinkle sesame seeds over them.

  6. 6

    place in convection oven and cook for about 10min or until golden brown. then flip balls upside down spray again with oil and sprinkle with sesame seed again.

  7. 7

    cook for another 10min.

  8. 8

    serve them with fresh salad.

  9. 9

    I love to decorate plate with some balsamic vinegar which adds a lot of flavour to salad and veggie tuna balls.

These came out horribly. The recipe calls for too much flour for 200g of tuna: you essentially get a ball of flour with a few pieces of tuna and veg thrown in. Adjustments to the flour content need to be made and some more detailed cooking instructions would also be helpful.
