#Healthy_ junior....Generally kids dont like upma to make them eat veggies and upma i innovated new idea to make them eat in the form of kebaab.i have used leftover breakfast upma for evening snacks.for upma i have used thick sooji bensi(rawa).I have used veggies like carrot,capsicum and tomatoes .

Ingredients

10-15 minutes
3 servings
  1. For the kebaab dough-
  2. 11/2 cupupma (used thick rawa made from wheat for making upma)
  3. 1egg(1/2For dough+1/2for outer crust)
  4. 1carrot grated
  5. to tasteSalt
  6. 1 tablespoonlemon juice
  7. to tasteRed chilli powder
  8. 2green deseeded chillies finely chopped
  9. Handfulfinely chopped coriander leaves
  10. Handfull of fried crushed peanuts(optional)
  11. 1/2 cupBread crumb
  12. For the kebaab stuffing-
  13. 1finely chopped medium size tomato
  14. 1finely chopped capsicum small size
  15. 4 tablespoongrated cheese
  16. 1/2 teaspoonchaatmasala
  17. 1 tablespoonchopped coriander leaves
  18. For outer covering of capsicum tomato salsa stuffed cheese kebab
  19. Bread crumbs 1/4 cup or as per requirement
  20. 1/2egg
  21. Oil for shallow frying kebaab
  22. some chopped tomatoes and capsicum for serving the kebaab

Steps

10-15 minutes
  1. 1

    Take wide mouth deep bowl add in all the ingredients and mix nicely with your hand.use less salt because it is already present in upma.

  2. 2

    Now ready the capsicum and tomato salsa for the kebaab stuffing,add in all the ingredients and mix with a spoon and keep it aside.

  3. 3

    Take out bread crumb in a plate and 1/2 whipped egg in a bowl.

  4. 4

    Divide kebaab dough into equal parts one portion should be of tennis ball size.

  5. 5

    Make a small ball from each portion of kebaab dough.

  6. 6

    Now flatten this small ball of kebaab dough on your palm and keep 1 tablespoon of capsicum, tomato and cheese salsa.

  7. 7

    Gather all the ends of kebaab dough and cover the stuffing.

  8. 8

    Now first dip kebaab in whipped egg and then roll them with the bread crumb and give nice disc shape.

  9. 9

    In a same way ready all the disc.

  10. 10

    Now if you want you can keep this kebaab disc inside the fridge for 10 minutes to set or directly fry them on a nonstick tawa.

  11. 11

    Heat around 4 tablespoon of oil on a nonstick girdle(tawa).

  12. 12

    Shallow Fry all the capsicum and tomato salsa stuffed upma cheese kebaab both the sides until crispy and brown.

  13. 13

    Switch of the flame and serve these healthy kebaab for your kids at the time of tea with chutney or sauce of your kids choice or you can enjoy these hot kebaab just like that.
