Pumpkin chappati served with beef, lentil stew and steamed cabbage

Boil the grated pumpkin for 5 minutes

Add sugar and pumpkin in a basin then mix well

Add a 1/4 of cooking oil

Add 1 cup of water then proceed with mixing

Add the flour and knead until it forms a dough

Add 1/4 of cooking oil and continue kneading for about 10 minutes

Cover with a nylon paper or a lead and leave it to soften for about 45 minutes

After 45 minutes separate the dough in 2 portions

Take each portion at a time the roll to make a round shape

Apply oil on it then use a knife to cut into small vertical shapes

Take each shape and roll it in a rounded shape

In another clear space sprinkle some flour

Use a rolling pan to roll and put in a hot pan

Turn it to the other side then add some oil using a spoon

Use a spoon to turn it around until it's fried to form a chappati

Repeat the procedure with the rest of the dough.

Serve with wet fried beef, lentil and steamed cabbage
