Ingredients

  1. 1 largeeggplanet
  2. 1/4 kgminced beef
  3. 1 largeonion
  4. 1 cupyogurt
  5. 3 clovegarlic
  6. 1 mediumlemon
  7. 1 smallblack pepper
  8. 1salt
  9. 1shreds of pitta bread
  10. 1/4 cuptahini
  11. 1 pinchof pine

    Preheat the oven, and shred the pitta bread into small pieces. Put them in an oven tray until toasted.

    In a frying pan, add small amount of vegetable oil. Put the minced beef, season with pepper and salt, to taste, and keep stiring untill well done. Leave it aside.

    In a bowl, mix the yogurt, tahini, garlic and the squeeze of the lemon. That would be the sauce of tjis recipe.

    Cut the eggplant into small cubes then fry.

    Slice the big onion, then carmelize in a separate pan.

    In a large plate, arrange first the toasted bread, a layer of eggplant and a layer of minced beef then add the sauce of yogurt.On the top, put the caramelized onions and roasted pine.
