Ingredients

1 servings
  • 2medium-sized mudfish(from the fish market)
  • 2lemons
  • 1large onion
  • 2tomatoes
  • bunchcoriander
  • 3 cupscooking oil
  • pinchsalt
  • 1 cupbaking flour

  1. 1

    Thoroughly clean the fish and drain the water.

  2. 2

    Make thin slices on the fish so. Cut the lemon into halves and squeeze the lemon juice onto the fish.

  3. 3

    Coat the fish in the flour and set aside

  4. 4

    Add the oil into a cooking pan. Allow for it to heat up.

  5. 5

    Add the fish in and fry till golden brown.turn and cook on both sides

  6. 6

    Cut the tomatoes and onions in to pieces. Place in a bowl. Finely chop the coriander and add it in.

  7. 7

    Squeeze some lemon juice onto the kachumbari. Add some salt and allow to marinate for a few minutes.

  8. 8

    Serve hot with ugali.
