3 tbspsugar
2 tbspbrown sugar
1 tbspground cumin
2 tspchili powder
1 tbspfreshly ground black pepper
1/2 tspcayenne pepper
1 tbsponion powder
1 tbspgarlic powder
1 tbspcelery salt
1 tsporegano, crushed

Yields one cup and can be stored on a shelf for at least a month or so. I use this rub on ribs, homemade beef jerky and on beef for my chili. If you want more heat, then add extra cayenne pepper.

I took out the salt which did not contribute any flavor to this rub.
