I found the original recipe on the soy chocolate milk carton.
i made this Lactose intollerant friendly and treenut allergy safe by omitting the almonds, and substituting with Lactaid ice cream. I also used other fruits and aniseseed.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cupSilk Brand Chocolate Soymilk
  • 1Banana
  • 1/2 cupStrawberries
  • Fresh Mint Leaves
  • 1/2 cupLactaid Brand (or any lactose free) Chocolate Ice Cream
  • smallhandfull Aniseseed

Steps

  1. 1

    Measure all ingredients. Remove mint leaves from stems - use leaves. Peel bananas. Remove leaves from strawberries. (i also chop strawberries and bananas in small pieces for easy measuring and blending.:)

    In blender, blend all ingredients until well blended.. Enjoy!

The stuff i cook is vegan, and do substitute to what i eat, because of allergies etc some may be old. i am on a rx meal plan not allowed to use food with lactose/treenuts.
